Our Log Buildings
Prestige
Log Buildings are manufactured by world-class, ISO9001 accredited
businesses using "Baltic Pine" grown in sustainable forests. The pine
is kiln dried and develops a fine, eye-pleasing grain which in-turn
reduces the needs for additional staining. Prior to dispatch, the
material is treated to provide protection against pest attack and the
elements.
Based on the application, our buildings have very specific
characteristics; for instance, Log Chalet style homes have thicker logs
which range from 92mm - 260 mm across. This thickness of log ensures
you get a structurally sturdy building with pleasing aesthetics.
The log buildings arrive in kit form and require installation on-site
which is a service we provide using our own team of installers
nationwide. Additionally, we are able to provide a true "turn-key"
solution; you brief us and we agree a detailed project plan and we do
the rest. This includes design of your log building, planning and
building control applications, foundation work, installing your log
building, electrics and plumbing work.
Process
It usually takes only 8 weeks from the time you place your order to the
time your building is delivered to site. With erection on a standard
site taking 3-4 weeks more. All buildings are made to order, ensuring
you get exactly what you desire.
