Housing is of great political importance as the pressure on "key workers" and those on limited incomes are continually squeezed out of the home owning democracy. 

Home ownership in the UK has now become a "de facto" elite club of sorts given that most key workers in our cities cannot afford to live near where they work and provide essential services.  Also, the change in our societal values such as the acceptability of single-parent families, children leaving home to set-up with a partner prior to marriage, are also creating excessive pressure on the limited housing stock.

Prestige Log Buildings recognise the need for "cost effective" housing solutions and one possible alternative is for local and central government to release some brown-field and green-field sites on which log buildings may be the ideal solution.
